Speakeasy: Tidal Memoir

Sea Turtle

Tidal Memoir

She sank into the depths
of her memories
wrapped in the warm
ocean waters
of her mind’s eye

She let the current carry her
through the years
drifting like tendrils
stretched out
behind her

She closed her eyes
descended to
the bottom of the sea
lost in long ago
and far away.
