Wrapping Up

Christmas presents

Wrapping Up

Twas the night before mayhem
And over my floor
Lay ribbons and trappings
Right up to the door

So tired that I
Can no longer think
Help! Please someone
Bring me a drink.

This is my submission for this week’s Trifecta challenge. The good folks at Trifecta have changed things up a bit, so the 33-word challenges are now held during the week, every other week. This week, they gave us this challenge:

Charles Dickens, in A Christmas Carol, wrote “There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humour.” We are giving you exactly 33 words to make us laugh out loud and spread some festive cheer.

  1. it’s STILL my favorite part, the wrapping (While I watch (gorge myself) on Christmas movies. People say “I hope I survive the holidays” but I always say “I survive because of the Holidays” because without Christmas where would all the magic and wonder be?

I still liked it…because you made me giggle (don’t forget to use special paper for the ones from Santa..kids are smarter than they look. 😉

MERRY CHRISTMAS Suzanne, much love this holiday season.

    1. I do like the wonder – and I always appreciate the gifts once they’re wrapped, but sometimes it seems like an insurmountable task to get it all done in time.

And yes – special paper for the ones from Santa! We’ve been doing that since my step-daughter was 3 (she’s 13 now). I keep that paper well hidden. 🙂

Merry Christmas to you too Kir!
